Where you'll need a permit:
-
Filming on government property: This includes things like parks, public buildings, and courthouses.
-
Filming on highways and city streets: If you'll be disrupting traffic or need to use traffic control measures (like cones or flaggers), you'll need a permit.
Where you don't need a permit:

But do contact us so we can have the opportunity to help promote your production post-production!
-
Please, as is standard notify everyone in the neighborhood that you be filming in a timely fashion well in advance of your production.
Please Note:
We do like to be contacted that you will be shooting so we can help make the neighborhood aware of your project and off your set (unless you invite them!). Plus promote your projects when completed!

Just a heads up: The world of film permits can change sometimes, just like the exciting film industry itself. We'll do our best to keep this information up-to-date!
